History
Ensemble de Lancement Ariane 3 (ELA-3) at the Guiana Space Centre in Kourou, French Guiana is the launch pad for Ariane 5 and its successor Ariane 6. Its near-equatorial location at 5.2 degrees north provides optimal GTO performance. The facility includes a massive mobile gantry, dual flame ducts, and cryogenic propellant facilities.
