History
Launch Complex 39B is the second pad at Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39, currently configured as NASA’s primary launch pad for the Space Launch System. It was rebuilt as a “clean pad” design removing the fixed service structure to support multiple vehicle types. LC-39B hosted the Ares I-X test flight and Artemis I mission.
