History

The Christopher C. Kraft Jr. Mission Control Center at Johnson Space Center in Houston has directed crewed spaceflight operations since Gemini IV in 1965. It houses multiple flight control rooms including the ISS Flight Control Room and Orion/Artemis control room. MCC-H is a National Historic Landmark and the nerve center of American human spaceflight.
