History
Launch Area Y2 at Tanegashima Space Center in southern Japan is JAXA’s primary launch pad for the H-IIA, H-IIB, and H3 rockets. Located on a scenic island south of Kyushu, it is often called the most beautiful launch site in the world. The Yoshinobu Launch Complex supports both satellite and deep-space missions.
