ABOUT GEMINI PROGRAM
The Gemini program was NASA’s second crewed spaceflight program, conducting ten crewed missions in 1965-1966. It developed and tested key techniques needed for Apollo: EVA, orbital rendezvous, docking, and long-duration spaceflight up to two weeks. Gemini bridged the gap between Mercury’s single-seat capsules and Apollo’s lunar missions.
