Falcon 9 Block 5 | PACE (Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem)
PACE (Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem) is a NASA Earth observation satellite mission. It will make global ocean color measurements to provide extended data records on ocean ecology and global biogeochemistry (e.g., carbon cycle) along with polarimetry measurements to provide extended data records on clouds and aerosols.
Falcon 9 is a two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX for the reliable and safe transport of satellites and the Dragon spacecraft into orbit. The Block 5 variant is the fifth major interval aimed at improving upon the ability for rapid reusability.

Mission Profile
PACE (Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem) was a Falcon 9 Block 5 mission operated by SpaceX that lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40, Cape Canaveral SFS, FL, USA on February 8, 2024. The flight carried its payload on a earth science mission to Sun-Synchronous Orbit. The first stage, booster B1081, made its 4th flight, returning to service just 51 days after its previous mission. It was flown as part of the NASA Large Strategic Science Missions program. The launch was a success.
