ABOUT INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

The International Space Station is a modular space laboratory in low Earth orbit, continuously inhabited since November 2000. Built through cooperation of NASA, Roscosmos, ESA, JAXA, and CSA, it spans 109 meters and has hosted over 270 visitors from 21 countries. The ISS has enabled groundbreaking research in microgravity, materials science, and human physiology.
